The President just pardoned Lewis "scooter" Libby from a 2 1/2 year jail sentence for his part in obstructing a CIA leak probe. A probe that Libby himself was believed to have been the main subject of. This is one of the grossest misuse of a Presidential pardon in years and it is recieving less coverage than a celebrity going to rehab or jail. I believe that the President is an example of what our country stands for and that he should act accordingly. Former President Clinton made many achievements during his time in office but will always be remembered for the scandal that almost ruined his administration and marriage. The question stands where will President Bush stand in the annals of history? How will he be remembered? I think in the short time Mr. Bush has left in office that he needs to take that into perspective and at least try and make his last year as respectful as possible.
